Windows open, flowers blooming, temperatures warming. It must be spring! Which means I’m doing everything I can to get my family up and out of the house. That means soccer and track meets and fire pits and basketball in the driveway. But it also means we’re hosting my parents over spring break.
Our normal plan when the grandparents fly in is to head up to the mountains to splash in the creek and cook hot dogs by the river. This year, however, our schedule was a little less flexible and we only had a couple hours to fill one day, so grandma asked the 11-year-old boy what he wanted to do. His perfect spring choice for the whole family?

Don’t get me wrong, I love me some go-karts, mountain coasters, and Dollywood, but when I only have a few hours, I don’t want to spend half of them on the Parkway. Because it’s so close, Top Golf can be a whole planned evening event or a last minute after school treat.
Great Food, Great Fun
On this particular spring day, we were booked for 12 o’clock and came in hungry! A platter of Funday Faves hit the spot with macaroni and cheese bites, chicken sliders, and more. In fact, we’ve never had a plate we didn’t like!
