Summer Fun, Lifetime Memories, Eternal Values
YMCA Camp Ocoee excels in providing a quality traditional, overnight camping experience. Ranger camp is the flagship program established by Glen Ellis in 1923. In our long history, we have balanced tradition with the interests of today’s campers by offering fun, exciting and safe activities. In ranger camp, each camper participates in a series of both land and water activities within the protection of the camp’s setting. Here, campers choose from a long list of activities to focus on each morning, while spending the afternoons experiencing the camp activities as a cabin group.
One-week sessions for boys and girls ages 7- 16. 4:1 camper to staff ratio. Strong Christian environment. Activities include paintball, whitewater rafting, kayaking, climbing, standup paddleboards, mtn. biking, camp-outs and many more.
Our purpose is to provide experiences, under a strong Christian emphasis, that will strengthen the spirit, mind, and body of all participants.

Welcome to Jurassic Camp. Don’t close your eyes.
Week 2 | June 6-10 | Mystery and Mayhem
Flashing lights, distant sirens, and a crime scene marked with yellow caution tape. The inspector is on the scene and no one is allowed in our out of the camp until the evidence has been processed. Participate with your friends on an uneven playing field as you slip and slide around different courses to achieve the quickest time. Surf’s up, as you Wipeout!
Week 4 | June 20-24 | Superheroes
“Faster than a speeding camper on the zipline. More powerful than a John Deere pulling a hay wagon. Able to leap tall insects in a single bound — Look, up in the sky . . . It’s a crow . . . It’s a squirrel . . . It’s Superhero week!” Join us as we celebrate the superheroes of today and yesterday. Discover your own superhero powers as we join forces to use our powers to save the world.
Week 5 | June 27-July 1 | Child vs. Wild
Based in part on the television show, Survivor, tribal alliances are formed and spirit fills the air as teams participate in competitions to gain points throughout the week. College and Career Transition Academy
Post-high school is a big transition for anyone but can be especially intimidating for students with disabilities. In this academy, we will be equipping your child with the skills they’ll need, whether they plan on entering college or the workforce in the future. In the months of June or July, your child will learn how to self-advocate, apply to colleges or jobs, improve communication skills, hear from guest speakers, and have some fun in it all! By the end of the academy, they (and you) will no longer be apprehensive but confident about what’s to come. This academy is offered for free to anyone 14-22 with an IEP, not just students with autism.
