Forks of the River Park-More than 600 acres of open space with views of the Tennessee River. There is Urban Wilderness Trails as well as the paved Will Skelton Greenway. It is adjacent to Ijams Nature Center.

Seven Islands State Birding Park-416 acres along the French Broad River approximately 19 miles east of Knoxville. It’s considered a premier birding destination with more than 190 species of birds sighted. It’s also popular for fishing, hiking and biking.

First Creek Park-Ten acres that include a playground and open space.
Fountain City Ballfields-Fifteen acres that include a seven baseball/softball fields, four tennis courts, and a playground. Restrooms available.
Fountain City Park-Eight acres that include a playground, four shelters, picnic tables, basketball court, open space and a natural spring/creek. Restrooms available.

Powell Station Park- Three acre park with splash pad, playground, restrooms, picnic pavilion and paved walking trail. There is also a paved loop trail and nature trails. A nine-hole disc golf course is also available.
Sterchi Hills Park-Playground, tennis and basketball courts, two miles of paved trails, picnic shelter and restrooms.
Halls Community Park- Six baseball fields along with concessions stand and restrooms that are open on game days. Playground area and large green space for play.
Tommy Schumpert Park-Baseball field, three large multi-use fields, a disc golf course, large picnic shelter and restrooms. Paved loop within the park.
Beverly Park-Ninety acres of paved and natural trails. Considered easy to moderate.
Carter Park-Baseball/softball fields and a soccer field. During game times, two concession stands and restrooms available. In-line hockey park and playground areas. Walking trail links picnic and playground area. Picnic shelters available.
Corryton Park-Basketball and tennis courts along with a softball field. Playground and paved trail. A picnic shelter and additional picnic tables are available. Restrooms also available.
East Knox Park-Baseball fields, picnic area and playground.
Gibbs Ruritan Park-Thirty acre park offers baseball/softball fields, football field and four tennis courts. Two playgrounds, picnic shelter and additional picnic tables. Restrooms available.
House Mountain-Five-hundred acre natural area with incredible views. It’s a favorite place for bird watchers and hikers.
New Harvest Park-Playground, splash pad and paved and natural surface trails. An amphitheater and community building. From May through November, a popular farmer’s market is held on Thursdays.

Baxter Avenue Park-One acre that includes a playground, picnic tables, and basketball court.

Melton Hill Park-112 acre park with playground, picnic shelter, picnic tables, fishing and boat access. Miles of trails both paved and natural weave through the park.
Nicholas Ball Park-Playground, paved trails along with sports courts and fields. Picnic area and restrooms available.
Powell Levi Park-Twenty-three acre park offers baseball/softball fields, an area for football. There is also a playground, paved loop, and picnic tables. The concession stand and restrooms are open during games.
Solway Park-Features a picnic area, small practice ball field and plenty of parking. Picnic tables and restrooms are also available.
Knox County Sportspark-Baseball and softball fields and three practice football fields. The park also has a playground, walking trail, concessions and a launch for kayaks and a pavilion for picnics.
U.S. Cellular Soccer Complex-Twenty-three acre park is a tournament quality soccer facility with six fields, concession stands and parking.
Walker Springs Park-Playground, picnic areas and small paved loop trail. From the loop, a paved trail leads to the Ten Mile Creek Greenway.

Cecil Webb Park-One acre includes playground, picnic table, and two basketball courts.

Bower Field-Playground and six baseball/softball fields including a small T-ball field that features the “Little Green Monster” after the famous wall at Fenway Park in Boston. Restrooms available.
French Memorial Park-Playground, soccer fields and exercise yard. Picnic tables, picnic shelter and restrooms also available.
I.C. King Park-Just under eight miles of multi-use trails. These easy to moderate trails are popular with hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers.
Admiral Farragut Park-It features a nine-hole mix of wooded and open fairways for the disc golfer, nature trails and plenty of shoreline for the angler.
The Cove at Concord Park-Paved walkway, playground, picnic tables and a swimming beach. During warm months, the River Sports Cove store is open for standup paddleboard, canoe and kayak rentals.
Turkey Creek Wetland-Twenty-two acre wetland with a greenway that runs behind Turkey Creek Shopping Center.
West Knoxville Area–
Lakeshore Park-110 acres include playground, open space, multiple ballfields, and paved trails. Restrooms available during games and practices.
Rocky Hill Ballfields-Eighteen acres include two playgrounds and eight baseball/softball. Restrooms available during games and practices.

BlueCross Healthy Place-This new inclusive playground opens Oct. 28th. The play space includes ramps, slides, a merry-go-round and a swing set. There is also a fitness station for adults and teens and a picnic pavilion.
