Downtown Knoxville Area–
Charles Krutch Park/Market Square-Water play fountains, picnic tables, and a small stream.
Volunteer Landing-Three acres include playground, water play fountains, picnic tables, and fishing docks. Restrooms available.
World’s Fair Park-Ten acres include playground, water play fountains, shelter, and open space. Restrooms available. Adjacent to the Sunsphere.
East Knoxville Area–
Alex Haley Heritage Square-Playgrounds, shelters, and open space.
Babe Ruth Park-One acre includes playground, picnic tables, basketball court, and open space.
Cal Johnson Park-Four acres include playground, shelter, picnic table, and two basketball courts.
Gov. Ned McWherter/Riverside Landing Park-Two acres include playground, picnic tables, water access, and boat dock.
Harriet Tubman Park-Four acres include playground, shelters, four tennis courts, four basketball courts, and horseshoe pit.
Holston-Chilhowee Ballfields-Fourteen acres include playground, five baseball/softball fields, and football field. Restrooms available.
Holston River Park-Forty-four acres include playground, shelters, picnic tables, two soccer fields, and dog park. Restrooms available.
James Smith Park-One acre includes playground, shelter, picnic table, and open space.
Morningside Park-Twenty-three acres include playground, shelters, picnic tables, and disc golf course.
Parkridge Park-Two acres include playground, shelter, picnic table, and basketball court.
Paul Hogue Park-One acre includes playground, shelter, picnic table, and open space.
William Powell Park-Two acres include playground, shelter, picnic tables, and basketball court.
Forks of the River Park-More than 600 acres of open space with views of the Tennessee River. There is Urban Wilderness Trails as well as the paved Will Skelton Greenway. It is adjacent to Ijams Nature Center.
Mascot Park-Playground, basketball court, picnic facilities and paved walking trail.
Seven Islands State Birding Park-416 acres along the French Broad River approximately 19 miles east of Knoxville. It’s considered a premier birding destination with more than 190 species of birds sighted. It’s also popular for fishing, hiking and biking.
North Knoxville Area–
Adair Park-Thirty-nine acres that include a playground, shelter, gazebo and a large open area for play. Restrooms available.
Alice Bell Park/Ballfields-Twelve acres that include six baseball/softball fields, batting cages, and a playground. Restrooms available during games and practices.
Boright Park-One acre that includes a playground, open spaces and picnic tables.
Christianberry Ballfields-Six acres that include four baseball/softball fields, two batting cages, and two playgrounds. Restrooms available.
Edgewood Park-Two acres that include a playground, picnic table, shelter, and tennis courts. Located beside the North Knoxville Library.
First Creek Park-Ten acres that include a playground and open space.
Fountain City Ballfields-Fifteen acres that include a seven baseball/softball fields, four tennis courts, and a playground. Restrooms available.
Fountain City Park-Eight acres that include a playground, four shelters, picnic tables, basketball court, open space and a natural spring/creek. Restrooms available.
Fourth & Gill Park-One acre that includes a playground, shelter, picnic table, and basketball court.
North Hills Park-One acre that includes a playground, shelter, picnic tables, and open space
Powell Station Park- Three acre park with splash pad, playground, restrooms, picnic pavilion and paved walking trail. There is also a paved loop trail and nature trails. A nine-hole disc golf course is also available.
Sterchi Hills Park-Playground, tennis and basketball courts, two miles of paved trails, picnic shelter and restrooms.
AYSO 337 Soccer Complex- Fields available for public use when games and practices not underway.
Halls Community Park- Six baseball fields along with concessions stand and restrooms that are open on game days. Playground area and large green space for play.
Tommy Schumpert Park-Baseball field, three large multi-use fields, a disc golf course, large picnic shelter and restrooms. Paved loop within the park.
Willow Creek Park-Baseball and softball fields.
Beverly Park-Ninety acres of paved and natural trails. Considered easy to moderate.
Carter Park-Baseball/softball fields and a soccer field. During game times, two concession stands and restrooms available. In-line hockey park and playground areas. Walking trail links picnic and playground area. Picnic shelters available.
Corryton Park-Basketball and tennis courts along with a softball field. Playground and paved trail. A picnic shelter and additional picnic tables are available. Restrooms also available.
East Knox Park-Baseball fields, picnic area and playground.
Gibbs Ruritan Park-Thirty acre park offers baseball/softball fields, football field and four tennis courts. Two playgrounds, picnic shelter and additional picnic tables. Restrooms available.
House Mountain-Five-hundred acre natural area with incredible views. It’s a favorite place for bird watchers and hikers.
New Harvest Park-Playground, splash pad and paved and natural surface trails. An amphitheater and community building. From May through November, a popular farmer’s market is held on Thursdays.
Northwest Knoxville Area–
Baxter Avenue Park-One acre that includes a playground, picnic tables, and basketball court.
Danny Mayfield Park-One acre that includes a playground, shelter, open space, and outdoor amphitheater.
Ed Cothren Pool-Outdoor pool with two shelters.
Frajan Cambpell Park-One acre that includes a playground, picnic tables, and a basketball court
Inskip Ballfields-Nine acres that include five baseball/softball fields, football field, playground, and picnic tables. Restrooms available.
Inskip Park-Twelve acres that include a playground, four tennis courts, open space and a shelter. Restrooms available during pool season.
Inskip Pool-Located within Inskip Park. Outdoor pool with two shelters and sand volleyball court.
Londsdale Park-Four acres that include three playgrounds, shelter, picnic tables, and basketball court.
Malcolm Martin Park-Seventeen acres that include one shelter, softball field, playground, and basketball court. Restrooms available.
Northwest Middle School Park-Fourteen acres that include a playground, two soccer fields, two tennis courts, open space, and roller hockey court.
Reed & Baxter Park-One acre that includes a playground
S & J Colquitt Memorial Park-Six acres that include a playground, picnic tables and open space
Victor Ashe Park-120 acres that include a playground, open space, shelter, disc golf, football fields, soccer fields, horseshoe pits, and sand volleyball courts. Restrooms available.
Ball Camp Community Park-Six acres with playground, picnic shelters and restrooms.
Ball Camp Soccer Complex-Twenty-one acres featuring nine soccer fields, concessions and restrooms.
Guinn Road Park-Thirteen acres offers boat access, picnic area and shelter along the scenic Clinch River.
Hickory Creek Park-Six acres with soccer fields, a picnic shelter, picnic tables and boat access. Quiet inlet is popular with paddlers and anglers.
Meadow Creek Soccer Complex-Roughly 13 acres with three soccer fields.
Melton Hill Park-112 acre park with playground, picnic shelter, picnic tables, fishing and boat access. Miles of trails both paved and natural weave through the park.
Nicholas Ball Park-Playground, paved trails along with sports courts and fields. Picnic area and restrooms available.
Powell Levi Park-Twenty-three acre park offers baseball/softball fields, an area for football. There is also a playground, paved loop, and picnic tables. The concession stand and restrooms are open during games.
Solway Park-Features a picnic area, small practice ball field and plenty of parking. Picnic tables and restrooms are also available.
Knox County Sportspark-Baseball and softball fields and three practice football fields. The park also has a playground, walking trail, concessions and a launch for kayaks and a pavilion for picnics.
U.S. Cellular Soccer Complex-Twenty-three acre park is a tournament quality soccer facility with six fields, concession stands and parking.
Walker Springs Park-Playground, picnic areas and small paved loop trail. From the loop, a paved trail leads to the Ten Mile Creek Greenway.
South Knoxville Area–
Cecil Webb Park-One acre includes playground, picnic table, and two basketball courts.
Charter E. Doyle Park-Twenty-six acres include playground, shelter, two tennis courts, and dog park. Restrooms available.
Gary Underwood Park-Five acres include playground, soccer field, and shelter.
Ijams Nature Center-275 acres include play house, hiking trails, nature center, shelters, and picnic tables. Restrooms available.
Island Home Park-Three acres include playground, tennis court, baseball/softball field, and picnic tables.
Joe Foster Park-includes playground, swings, picnic tables, and picnic tables
Mary James Park-Three acres include two playgrounds (one accessible) and picnic tables.
Mary Vestal Park-Thirteen acres include playground, picnic tables, and baseball/softball field.
Maynard Glenn Ballfields-Seven acres include playground, shelter, picnic tables, four baseball/softball fields, and batting cage. Restrooms available during games and practices.
Sam Duff Memorial Park-Twelve acres include playground, two shelters, picnic tables, soccer field, tennis courts, track, and basketball courts. Restrooms available.
Scottish Pike Park-Two acres include playground, shelter, and picnic tables.
Alcoaway Optimist Park-Two softball fields, a soccer field and basketball court. There is a playground and walking loop. Picnic shelter and restrooms available.
Bower Field-Playground and six baseball/softball fields including a small T-ball field that features the “Little Green Monster” after the famous wall at Fenway Park in Boston. Restrooms available.
French Memorial Park-Playground, soccer fields and exercise yard. Picnic tables, picnic shelter and restrooms also available.
I.C. King Park-Just under eight miles of multi-use trails. These easy to moderate trails are popular with hikers, trail runners and mountain bikers.
Admiral Farragut Park-It features a nine-hole mix of wooded and open fairways for the disc golfer, nature trails and plenty of shoreline for the angler.
Keller Bend Park-A half-mile nature trail.
Carl Cowan Park -Playground, splash pad, sports courts and playing fields. Also popular for the fishing pier.
Concord Park (East)-Fields and sports courts along with trails, a dog park and a marina. A boat ramp and shoreline trail are also available.
Concord Park (West)-Sports fields and boat launch.
The Cove at Concord Park-Paved walkway, playground, picnic tables and a swimming beach. During warm months, the River Sports Cove store is open for standup paddleboard, canoe and kayak rentals.
Turkey Creek Wetland-Twenty-two acre wetland with a greenway that runs behind Turkey Creek Shopping Center.
West Knoxville Area–
Lakeshore Park-110 acres include playground, open space, multiple ballfields, and paved trails. Restrooms available during games and practices.
Rocky Hill Ballfields-Eighteen acres include two playgrounds and eight baseball/softball. Restrooms available during games and practices.
Sequoyah Hills Park-Eighty-seven acres include playground, picnic tables, open space, three baseball/softball fields, and unpaved trails. Restrooms available during games and practices.
Tyson Park-Twenty-seven acres include large playground (partially accessible), eight shelters, 14 tennis courts, and one baseball/softball field. Restrooms available.
West Hills/John Bynon Park-Fourteen acres include two playgrounds, two shelters, picnic tables, tennis courts, baseball/softball fields, open spaces, and basketball court. Restrooms available.
West View Park-Three acres include playground, two shelters, and paved trail.
Westwood Park-One acre includes playground, shelter, picnic table, and open space.
Whitlow-Logan Park-Two acres with playground, picnic table, tennis court, and basketball court.
Anchor Park-Fifteen acres include playground, ballfields, and picnic area.
BlueCross Healthy Place-This new inclusive playground opens Oct. 28th. The play space includes ramps, slides, a merry-go-round and a swing set. There is also a fitness station for adults and teens and a picnic pavilion.
Founders Park at Campbell Station-Seventeen acres include open play areas, pavilions, and walking trails. Restrooms available.
Mayor Bob Leonard Park-Fifty acres include accessible playground, multiple ballfields, and covered picnic area. Restrooms available.
McFee Park-Playground and splash with twenty-six acres include accessible playground, splash pad, and two pavilions. Restrooms available.
