Knoxville Moms Turns 7!

0

Normally, we’ve celebrated Knoxville Moms at our huge annual birthday bash. However, 2020 has changed everyone’s plans including our fun Mom’s Night Out events as well as our family events. We deeply miss our community, and we can’t wait to reconnect with everyone hopefully in 2021.

Seven years ago, I started Knoxville Moms Blog (now Knoxville Moms after rebranding last year) with nine ladies. Now we are a team of 40 wonderful women that make my life fuller as friends and fellow mothers. Friendships that will last a lifetime and women who have taught me so much about support, different outlooks, and points of views. Our journeys may look different, but the bond of motherhood and understanding is always there to help us navigate these uncharted waters.

Now:

We won’t be dancing the night away celebrating like last year or taking our team photos, BUT we will get through this TOGETHER. Next year we’ll celebrate the strength we’ve gained and look back and think we made it one of the toughest times in our lifetime.

We hope you find our website as a resource of support during these trying times (to laugh or cry) and can relate to our writers as they all share a piece of their journey.

While we can’t celebrate in person, we’d like to take you through memory lane with our birthday bashes of years past. We can’t wait to continue serving our lovely community of Knoxville for many more years to come!

Over 20 years ago, I moved to Knoxville and fell in love with the city that has now truly become my home. Shortly after moving here, I married my college sweetheart, and when not working we set out to travel as much as we could. After working as a financial manager for six years, I welcomed my first son in 2010 and began a journey as a stay-at-home mom. Two years later we added another baby boy to make us a family of four. In June 2016, we welcomed our third son. I founded Knoxville Moms in November 2013 which began my career as a work-from-home mom, and it grew to the expansion of Chattanooga Moms in March 2016. We welcomed our first girl in November 2017 making us a family of six and adding a little pink in our house. In June 2021, I became the co-owner of the Atlanta Mom website, and in March 2022 I became the owner of the Nashville Moms parenting website. When I'm not carpooling the kids to sports and activities, you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee, reading a good book, and dreaming about my toes in the sand. I enjoy meeting new people and enjoy connecting the moms of Knoxville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Nashville.
