There’s always an occasion to celebrate: baby showers, engagements, birthday parties, and girls’ nights out. It’s pretty easy to find a location for a kid’s party, but adults are a bit trickier.

1. Cru Bistro & Wine Bar

Cru has a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere. Not only is the food delicious, but the management is outstanding. There’s a party room available for booking as well. If you want to simply reserve a table for 25 people however, there’s no charge.

My best friend threw a surprise party for her husband’s 30th birthday at Cru. She said the manager was easy to work with and helped ensure everyone was comfortable. The kids loved it, too! You can find their menu on their website. Everything is delicious!

2. Don Osborne with Cherokee VIP

Don can take you anywhere you want to go. With many years’ experience and an excellent reputation as a driver, Don Osborne can drop your entire party off at your destination and be there to pick you up when it’s over. His luxury bus seats up to 12 people comfortably, and it’s just as beautiful on the inside!

3. SkateTown in Knoxville

In case you’re feeling a little extra (which as you can see, my friends and I always are), SkateTown is a great place for a party. It’s often overlooked, but it’s almost impossible not to enjoy the throwback roller-skates and old-school jams.

4. Maple Hall

This unique bowling spot is located in the heart of downtown Knoxville. They feature cozy lounge areas, VIP treatment, and delicious food. 5. Painting with a Twist

What’s more unique than an amazing party complete with dinner and drinks, PLUS your own personal artwork to take home? Painting with a Twist offers a special experience where each attendee receives his or her own art canvas and supplies. If you can’t paint, don’t worry! 6. The Lonesome Dove

If you’re looking for a more upscale experience, The Lonesome Dove is a great spot. With menu offerings such as wild pig, rabbit, and roasted garlic stuffed beef tenderloin (which is DELICIOUS, by the way), you’re sure to have an unforgettable experience. This restaurant offers private dining with a food and beverage minimum. They also have experience hosting beautiful wedding receptions, graduation parties, and other special celebrations.

7. Calhoun’s

Calhoun’s on the River is always a familiar spot with excellent management and food. I call it our “old favorite,” and it’s usually a go-to spot to celebrate family birthdays. Calhoun’s offers public and private dining. They also offer call-ahead seating for parties of 10 or fewer.

8. Knoxville Escape Room: Breakout Games

Breakout games are becoming more and more popular because they offer a new level of adventure. Breakout has different scenarios where you and your friends must solve a mystery in order to “break out.” Participation requires a waiver, and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There’s a minimum of two players and a maximum of 7-8 players per game.

9. The Front Porch

The Front Porch offers primitive Southern dining in a cozy neighborhood in Powell, TN. My sister threw my baby shower at the Front Porch and it was one of the best places I’ve ever eaten.
