Living in Knoxville has a lot of advantages for a smaller city. With the mountains in our backyard to the proximity of many fun family adventures just a few hours’ drive away, we are able to experience the outdoors as well as make memories with our kids. One of our favorite places to visit with kids and without kids is the nearby city of Asheville, North Carolina.
Recently my family was able to stay at the townhouse from the Upstream Way Vacation Rentals. With a family of six, I’m always looking for condos or rentals that give us a little more room so we are not on top of each other and the ability to eat and cook meals.
The Penthouse rental from Upstream Way gave us plenty of room and then some! We were able to have another family of six stay with us, and with eight children in tow we spread out in this luxury townhouse with four floors. One family was able to takeover and stay in the third floor, and we split the first and second floor for ours.
On the fourth floor, it’s a kid’s dream. With a fireplace, big screen TV (Netflix available in every room), ping pong table, and a hot tub this rental has it all! The kids were able to split up and do their own activities if they didn’t want to hang out with their younger sibling.
If that wasn’t enough, this rental also has a great view of the French Broad River with a great patio to enjoy the sun and relax. This rental has easy access to green ways, parks, and even the Biltmore!
We are frequent users of VRBO or AirBNB rentals, so we definitely have seen places that are great and not so great. Upstream Way by far provided EVERYTHING. Have you ever stayed at a rental and had to bring all the essentials or purchase at a store? This rental had all the spices, all the pans, kids’ plates, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, extra bed frames and mattresses, and even a pack ‘n play! Every bathroom had soap, shampoo, and plenty toiletries. I can personally say that I’ve never stayed at a rental that had everything provided. It makes traveling with a big family so much easier to know that this place is fully stocked and ready to go!
