I was so excited to be a part of another successful KMB Mom’s Night Out a few weeks ago with about 20 other moms and moms-to-be at Pure Barre. Now this Mom’s Night Out was a little different than our inaugural one at The Gem Store – fewer fancy clothes and sparkly diamonds and more leggings and “seat” work! But either way, it was a great night!
For those that haven’t been to a “barre” class I would highly recommend it. I wasn’t sure about it at first – I’m the type that feels like I need to be sweating to have a “good” workout. But the ladies at Pure Barre were able to change that thought. The class offers a full body workout without leaving a pool of sweat on the floor, which is great since they offer a class during your lunch hour. So it would be easy to pop over for a class and then head back into the office or run errands without looking like a mess! And I definitely felt that “seat” workout the next day, and the next!
On top of getting to have a great little workout, we were also treated to some dinner afterwards! Brixx Pizza was kind enough to bring us to some very healthy post-workout dinner options – we were all expecting pizzas but were pleasantly surprised by the options we had. They came with wraps and sandwiches and salad – which were all delicious. Plus, they gave away a gift card and coupons for free appetizers!
And what Mom’s Night Out isn’t complete without a little retail therapy? We were treated to some very cute and trendy boutique clothing from Euphoria Boutique. The owner, Mary, a mom herself, has a passion for fashion and really wants to bring that out in her boutique. It’s a great option for easy shopping for us moms as we try to stay fashionable while racing around with our kiddos!
Special thanks goes to Brianna from Brianna Leigh Photography for photographing the event and to our giveaway sponsors Trophy Wife Wines and Amanda Maddox Salon!
If you weren’t able to make it this time, I hope to see you at our next Mom’s Night Out on May 1st at Brixx West Hills!
