Park Fun with the Town of Farragut! {Giveaway}

7

With warm weather upon us and school out, many of us are looking for outdoor activities for the kiddos! Thankfully Knoxville has a lot to offer in the park department and especially in the Town of Farragut.

Town of Farragut (1)

A family favorite is Anchor Park in Farragut. With lots of shade, the lake, playground, and a sandbox it’s the perfect combination! It’s great for fun and a picnic, and the kids love it when a train goes by!

Anchor Park

We also love the Founders Park at Campbell Station. It has plenty of shade and beautiful walking trails along a creek that runs throughout the park. It’s great for a stroll, a picnic, or even family photos! (We’ve done a few there!)

Founders Park

Need to cool off? The McFee Park is the perfect spot with its splash pad! We’ve held a birthday party at the pavilion, and it was so fun we are doing it again later this summer. The kids can’t resist the water or the fun playground with lots of slides and climbing fun!

These are just a few of the great parks in Farragut, so be sure to check out the full list next time you are looking for a good family outing.

And today we have great news! Knoxville Moms Blog and the Town of Farragut to offer a FABULOUS giveaway!

  1. We just moved here a few months ago. Living close enough to walk to Founders Park makes it a favorite. I love the challenge of running the trail up the hill, then relaxing by the calming water. My kids love to run and play in the open area near the statues and my husband loves reading the signs and learning more about our new town. We have not been to Anchor Park or McFee Park yet – so I love seeing more about them and we will be checking them out soon.

  2. We’ve lived here all of our lives, but appreciate the reminders of places to go. I see something like this in my Facebook news feed, and make a note that we need to go again. The parks are one of the reasons that this area is perfect for raising a family.

  3. We moved to Farragut almost three years ago. We have been to all of the parks. Each one is awesome in its own way. Founders Park is great for the scenery. McFee Park is wonderful on those super hot days! The Cove is great for the beach and shade. Anchor Park is an awesome place to let your kids run off some energy. All of them are wonderful parks and we enjoy each one!
