A new Christmas light show is kicking off in Knoxville and it will soon be one of your family’s favorite holiday traditions! The “Smokies Winter Wonderland Lightshow” is taking place at the new Covenant Health Park baseball stadium in the Old City.
The stadium will be decked out in thousands of lights providing a festive backdrop for lots of great kid-friendly activities. There will be a train ride, letter writing to Santa, and cookie and ornament decorating along with seasonal food and drinks available for purchase. You can even get some Christmas shopping done with local vendors and pick up new Christmas-themed Smokies gear for your favorite fan. Santa Claus will be making a special trip from the North Pole to visit with children Thursdays through Sundays.
The “Smokies Winter Wonderland Lightshow” runs December 5th through January 5th from 6:00pm to 11:00pm Friday and Saturday and 6:00pm to 10:00pm Sunday through Thursday. It will be closed on Christmas Day. Tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster for $11.29 per person. Kids three and under are free. Group reservations and ticket prices are also available.
