Knoxville Moms: Celebrating 10 Years

0

Knoxville Moms is celebrating 10 years, and we want to thank you for joining us on this journey! It all began in 2013, when our founder Natalie was searching for a way to find balance between working and raising her two sons. As a result, Knoxville Moms was born as a way to connect mothers, provide resources and empower moms.

Knoxville Moms 10 Year

Fast-forward to today, Knoxville Moms has an executive team and 44 local writers from all walks of life and reaches over a million people across East Tennessee each year. Knoxville Moms marked this 10-year milestone with a birthday bash at The Reserve at Bluebird Hill

The Reserve at Bluebird Hill The rolling hills and gardens were a picture-perfect backdrop for the night.

Inside, artistic displays of flowers by Vintage Floral Designs adorned the tables. Stunning dahlias and other farm fresh florals were part of each arrangement. The overall look was elegant and natural.

The drink menu included Lavender Lemon Drops, Red Wine Sangria, Hibiscus Mules among other assorted beverages. The drinks were served from a charming vintage trailer. While Olmstead served up the cocktails, we have Children’s Dentistry of Knoxville to thank for providing the drinks.

Angela Floyd Schools, a longtime supporter of Knoxville Moms, treated everyone to an incredible charcuterie spread courtesy of The Cheese Boss.

One thing is for certain: these Knoxville Moms know how to party! When people weren’t getting down, they were posing for pictures in front of a huge balloon display and tribute in lights to Knoxville Moms. Balloons & Co. and Alpha-Lit Knoxville really outdid themselves! It makes sense Dobbs Orthodontics provided the photo op because there were lots of beautiful smiles.

When guests weren’t snapping pictures of each other, Rita Thomas Photography was capturing the fun. We couldn’t wait to see how the professional photos turned out and Rita Thomas Photography exceeded our expectations.

What’s a party without cake? Our multi-talented contributing writer Haley of Haley Cakes made the modern two-tier anniversary cake. The lemon and vanilla cake was the perfect sweet exclamation point to all the wonderful food.

There was eye candy too. Kendra Scott brought a pop-up jewelry boutique. Shoppers could create one-of-a-kind custom pieces on the spot ranging from earrings to necklaces to bracelets.

All the guests got a special surprise thanks to Meridiem DermSpa. Meridiem gifted everyone with goody bags filled with SkinCeuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense Sunscreen, wine glasses and more. Four lucky attendees won the raffle drawing for Kendra Scott Jewelry and a HydraFacial at Meridiem DermSpa.

Knoxville Moms wouldn’t be here without all these amazing sponsors and all of you. Thank you for being part of this thriving community!

We can’t wait to see where Knoxville Moms will be in the next 10 years!
