Good Girl Books Opens Brick And Mortar LocationCalling all bookish girlies, Good Girl Books brick and mortar location has officially opened and it is a must visit for your next girls day outing!

You might have read my article featuring Good Girl Books and the traveling bookstore famously known as “Little Miss Smuttie” in September of last year. The traveling bookstore has become well known in the Knoxville area and many have even come from surrounding counties and states to catch a glimpse of the pink book truck! Now, you can go to one location and get all your books and bookish items in one adorably designed store!

Good Girl Books opened its physical location at 7685 South Northshore Drive on June 28, 2025 and had book lovers lined up from the early morning hours to get a glimpse of the store and snag some new reads!

The Knoxville area showed up in a big way and the line to get in was wrapped around the store! Even so, they had people in and out very quickly and the day was a huge success. The Good Girl books employees had plenty of water to pass out to help everyone brave the heat and the local coffee cart Adrift coffee was there so that everyone could get a caffeine fix while they waited.

Don’t worry; if you have visited the mobile bookstore and are concerned about not seeing the book truck anymore, “Little Miss Smuttie” is located inside the store! Good Girl Books is owned by Rayanne Streeter and Lauren Morrill (a local author) with her own book More Than A Feeling on sale at the store.

Not only does the book shop have steamy romance, fantasy, young adult, and contemporary romance novels, they also have a lot of other cute merch such as t-shirts featuring the Good Girl Books logo, coffee mugs, and Kindle covers and accessories. There are also totes, stickers, and even hats! The store was fully stocked with some of this summer’s newest and most anticipated reads as well like Emily Henry’s “Big Beautiful Life” and Abby Jimenez’s “Say You’ll Remember Me” and they are restocking constantly.

Full transparency: I’m on a book buying ban this year because I have way too many Kindle and physical books on my TBR already, but I definitely made an exception for the Good Girl Books’ grand opening. I snagged three books, a coffee mug, two stickers, a t-shirt, and a pop socket for my Kindle and it’s all so adorable!

There are some things you may want to take note of before you visit Good Girl Books. Parking is a bit limited at the location, so you may have to take that into account when visiting and possibly carpool with friends or find a spot nearby if parking is taken. Also, be prepared to want to buy some adorable flowers while you’re there since Flourish Knoxville is next door. It’s the perfect combo!

The hours for Good Girl Books currently are as follows:

  • Sunday: 12pm-5pm
  • Monday: closed
  • Tuesday: 10am-6pm
  • Wednesday: 10am-6pm
  • Thursday: 10am-6pm
  • Friday: 10am-7pm
  • Saturday: 10am-7pm

You can find additional information like how to shop online, and everything else you may want to know on their website or on Instagram at @goodgirlbooksknox.

You won’t regret giving Good Girl Books a visit!
