Summer is finally here, and that means it’s time for some of your favorite outdoor activities in Farragut! Mark your calendars for the following events and see the full schedule of Town of Farragut activities and programs on our website.

Farragut Independence Day ParadeThe annual Independence Day Parade starts at 9:30am on Monday, July 4. There’s no better way to kick off the Fourth of July than with the Town of Farragut parade! Grab the kids, the camp chairs and a picnic brunch, and find a viewing spot along Kingston Pike (from Farragut High School to the former Ingles site). This year, our grand marshals will be breast cancer survivors Amy and Cheri, the Euphoric Cheese ladies. Also, active-duty sailors from the USS Farragut will walk along with the Farragut Museum float! As always, the parade will include marching bands, antique cars, animals and your favorite local businesses. You don’t want to miss this Farragut family favorite!

Farragut's Fun with FleetFun with Farragut’s Fleet returns to Mayor Bob Leonard Park, 301 Watt Road, from 9-11am on Saturday, August 20. Everyone enjoys a close-up encounter with big construction equipment and law enforcement vehicles! Don’t miss this chance for kids of all ages to get a closer look at heavy equipment and meet the people who use them every day. Participants include the Town of Farragut and private companies such as Rural/Metro and Smyrna Ready Mix.
