Men are hard to shop for, aren’t they? If they want something, they usually buy it themselves. I’m fairly lucky to be married to a guy who’s easy to shop for, but just because he’s easy to shop for doesn’t always relieve the pressure of finding the perfect Father’s Day present. I’ve put together a 2016 Father’s Day Gift Guide that I think lists items most men would enjoy so I hope this helps your quest!

Pampering

  • A massage – either a gift card, or give him a an hour of your own time
  • Cologne, shaving oils, moisturizer, etc. Put them in a little bag in a travel bag, and voila!
  • Dollar Shave Club (My husband has this, and we both love it!)
  • BirchBox (a $20/month subscription box full of goodies such as lotions, colognes, and usually at least one item like head phones or sunglasses)
  • A scheduled visit or gift card to a nice barbershop (if you’re a local, check out Frank’s Barbershop, my husband’s happy place)
  • Other subscription boxes for men are always a fun thing to try and you can always cancel
  • ManCrates (so cool!) are prepacked crates of any variety (cooking, drinking, gaming, etc.) that come in a crate and with a small crowbar for opening

Techie Dad

  • Chromecast, Amazon Fire Stick, or the pricier Apple TV (both are nice, but Fire Stick comes with a remote and nice platform; however Chromecast can stream from your internet browser, while the Fire Stick cannot)
  • Garmin Vivofit, Fitbit, etc.
  • AmazonPrime (absolutely worth every penny), discounts on items and did I mention free two-day shipping?
  • If you can’t afford an AppleWatch, try a Pebble watch

For the Father that has Everything

  • Groovebook ($2.99/month subscription to have photos on your phone printed into books)
  • Books! Or even have your own kids write their own book about why they love dad!
  • Along the same line, a magazine subscription, Garden and Gun, Modern Farmer, etc.?
  • A car detailing, or you know, just a good old fashioned wash
  • Tickets to a favorite sporting event, or even a blast from the past, like dinner at the place you had your first date
  • An enhancement to something he already has, such as a new Fitbit band for his Fitbit

From the Heart (and the Kids!)

  • Check out this upcoming event Imagination Forest is holding to help make a Father’s Day Mug!
  • Breakfast in bed
  • Crafts galore (seriously, where would be without Pinterest?)
  • Picture frames of any size, shape or variety, maybe even a handwritten little note on the back expressing your love
  • Pull out all of the stops, streamers, balloons, homemade cupcakes, and make him feel like it’s a second birthday
  • A DAY OFF (now I know this might seem a little crazy since you typically want to spend it with family, but how about letting him go golfing, fishing, do whatever he wants to do, even if it’s just for a few hours)
  • Write a poem or just a heartfelt letter knowing how much you appreciate all that he does
