Easy S’mores Cookies

Only three ingredients needed for these super delicious, quick, kid-friendly cookies!

I love teaching my kids how to cook and bake, but I’m also a complete control freak in the kitchen, especially with multiple kids in the kitchen.

These cookies are perfect for involving kids in baking, particularly if you are a control freak in the kitchen. You’re welcome.

Let me tell you why these are perfect for kids and control freaks…

They take three ingredients. Yep, just three.

You need refrigerated cookie dough (don’t worry about making homemade dough, just buy the premade stuff!), marshmallows, and Hershey’s chocolate bars. Basically buy s’mores ingredients but replace the graham crackers with refrigerated cookie dough. You’re sold on this already, right?!

They are ridiculously easy to make.

The cookie dough gets separated, baked, topped with a marshmallow, baked slightly more, and then cool and top with a chocolate bar. This, of course, means that there is no scooping and mushing cookie dough and no measuring of ingredients. It’s still absolutely fun for the kids but way less stress for momma.

The prep time, baking time, and clean up time are all very minimal.

I used parchment paper on my cookie sheets instead of using silicon mats, so when we were done, I just had to throw away the parchment paper. Clean up was done!

The best part of all is that these cookies are DELICIOUS!

You get all the elements of s’mores plus a chocolate chip cookie. These cookies barely lasted a few hours and I’m not at all above admitting I ate entirely too many of them by myself. If they are warm, the marshmallow is still melty and soft and the chocolate is lusciously melty. Yes, lusciously. But even cooled, they are still so darn tasty.

So y’all, get in the kitchen and bake these easy, quick, yummy cookies with your kids! And y’all fellow control freaks, I got your back! This recipe is fun for everyone!
