It’s time to bundle up and head out to catch one of the festive East Tennessee Christmas parades! You’ll be sure to see themed Christmas floats, fire trucks and, of course, the jolly old elf himself. There may even be some candy to catch, so be sure to bring a goodie bag to haul it all home. Knoxville Moms put together this list of Christmas parades around our region. Farragut Christmas Parade
Farragut, TN

Santa’s Village will take place from 1:00pm to 5:00pm and the parade will kick off at 4:00pm. The parade will begin on Jamestowne Boulevard at the Farragut Community Center and will continue up Jamestowne in front of Faith Lutheran Church and behind the Village Green Shopping Center, turning into the west entrance of the shopping center, and ending a little bit before Santa’s Village. Gatlinburg’s Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade
Downtown Gatlinburg, TN

Come see why millions of people have watched this award-winning celebration! Enjoy marching band performances, large balloons, dancers, musicians and much more. Parade route: Begins at Baskins Creek Bypass on East Parkway at 7:30PM before spanning through Gatlinburg and ending at traffic light #10. See website for more details.


Rocky Hill Christmas Parade & Festival
Knoxville, TN

The festival will begin at 3:30PM with the Christmas-themed market, food trucks, and live music in the Rocky Hill Center parking lot. The parade will begin at 6:00pm. Christmas tree lighting following the parade. Santa will also be around for a photo opportunity. See website for more details.

Claiborne County is celebrating 49 years of its Christmas parade! This year’s theme will be “The Polar Express.” The parade will begin in the Walmart/Ingles parking lot. Congressman Tim Burchett will be the 2025 Christmas Parade Grand Marshal.

The parade this year is “country themed.” Spectators may watch the parade as it travels our traditional route from Corporate Center, on the corner of Lafayette and Laboratory Road. From there it will travel down Lafayette to the Oak Ridge Turnpike. It will continue west on the Turnpike and end at Oak High School.

Wear lights and you’ll be part of the parade this year in New Market!  The parade will start at the old golf course and end at the New Market Fire Hall. The Christmas Tree lighting at city park will take place following the parade. Kids, bring your ornaments to decorate tree! Food, drinks and fun to follow!

Luttrell, TN

The parade will begin at 101 Park Road in Luttrell. Participants may begin lining up at 10:00am. Santa will be making an appearance!

Wartburg, TN

This year’s parade theme is “A 1950’s Christmas.” The parade will kick off at Central High School and end at First Baptist Church. Cookies and hot chocolate will be given out at the church’s fellowship hall and Santa will be available for pictures.
