Detailed Information
Food gotta cook. Don’t come out of a can. Serving fresh food and culture for our Knoxville neighbors since 1990.
A Market Square restaurant that was called by the New York Times as “the nexus for all things hip and happening in town” is well-known for our vegan and vegetarian fare.
Don’t worry – we have the carnivores covered, too. You’ll find antibiotic free chicken, Benton’s Bacon, Italian sausage and our house made lamb sausage. Our lunch meats are nitrite/nitrate free.
You can find a second location of The Tomato Head in The Gallery Shopping Center, located at 7240 Kingston Pike in West Hills.

I’m a former TV news producer turned stay-at-home mom to my active kids. When we're not at a horse barn, we're probably at an ice hockey rink! I began writing for Knoxville Moms shortly after I began my motherhood journey 11-years ago. I've grown so much as a mom and writer during that time. While I'm older and my children are older, what's not old is my desire to connect moms with community resources and each other. Please join me on this exciting journey we call motherhood!
