A Perfect Getaway at Camp Margaritaville RV Resort + Lodge

We all know it’s awesome to have the mountains in our backyard and the towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with all their fun family activities.

But now you can experience the views with the fun at the new Camp Margaritaville RV Resort + Lodge located in Pigeon Forge.

With an RV Resort and Lodge, you decide how you want to kick back in a Margaritaville state of mind. If RVing is your passion, load up your rig and make the RV Resort your home away from home; if upscale hotel amenities are more your style, pack your bags and check in to chill out at The Lodge. Guests of both the RV Resort and The Lodge will enjoy the extensive pool recreation area, Fins Bar, Pickleball courts, Fin City entertainment center, fire pit, children’s playground, and Barkaritaville Dog Park.

We first noticed all the fun bright colors of the lodge and how the theme is carried out so well throughout the whole lodge. It’s fun and upbeat and just overall gives you a good vibe.

This post is brought to you by our partners at Camp Margaritaville RV Resort + Lodge.

Our room was perfect for a family of 6 with a HUGE room with tall ceilings. We even had a great view of the mountains out of our window. Our room came with two queen-sized beds and even a room for the kids with two twin beds that was behind a curtain like a fun tent. They also had those awesome zip up bedding that makes making a bed easy. It just felt massive with the tall ceilings, and we didn’t feel cramped like we normally do.

Once we settled in, we headed down for an early dinner at Fins Bar and Chill Restaurant where the cool Margaritaville beach vibe continued. It even has garage doors that can be opened to the green space. The food was so delicious! We had a huge pretzel to share as an appetizer, and we all had different items from the fish tacos to the burgers and everyone was impressed with food and service. We also had a delicious breakfast the next morning where my kids were part of the clean plate club.

We then headed to downstairs, and I just couldn’t believe how many activities there are to choose from on the bottom level. We visited the Arcade first because my kids love some arcade games, and it’s a large room to spread out in to play various games. Outside of the arcade you can setup and watch sports, play foosball, dart lanes, and a game of pool.

Outside has just as much to offer. We had a late evening pool visit where you can go down a slide, enjoy the pool, the tree splash area, or the hot tub. They also have a firepit outside the pool area if you are wanting to warm up by the fire after getting out of the pool which we definitely did!

On our second day we were able to check out the super cool duckpin bowling alley. It was so fun because it is like a miniature bowling game fun for even the young and old. My kids had a blast playing.

They also offer pickle ball courts as well as a playground on property for the kids. Soon they will have a lazy river, activities lawn, and a craft room. What more can they offer? They really thought of everything! Check out this map of the whole property and our Instagram reel to see even more about our recent visit.

So whether you stay at the lodge or visit with your RV, you really can’t go wrong. It’s a perfect getaway for the whole family so make your next trip to Pigeon Forge to Camp Margaritaville!

Over 20 years ago, I moved to Knoxville and fell in love with the city that has now truly become my home. Shortly after moving here, I married my college sweetheart, and when not working we set out to travel as much as we could. After working as a financial manager for six years, I welcomed my first son in 2010 and began a journey as a stay-at-home mom. Two years later we added another baby boy to make us a family of four. In June 2016, we welcomed our third son. I founded Knoxville Moms in November 2013 which began my career as a work-from-home mom, and it grew to the expansion of Chattanooga Moms in March 2016. We welcomed our first girl in November 2017 making us a family of six and adding a little pink in our house. In June 2021, I became the co-owner of the Atlanta Mom website, and in March 2022 I became the owner of the Nashville Moms parenting website. When I'm not carpooling the kids to sports and activities, you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee, reading a good book, and dreaming about my toes in the sand. I enjoy meeting new people and enjoy connecting the moms of Knoxville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Nashville.
