Webb School of Knoxville is a Pre-K through 12th grade private, independent, coeducational day school in West Knoxville. Founded in 1955, Webb School provides a world-class, college preparatory curriculum that is continually evolving in light of technological advances, new areas of inquiry and opportunities for extracurricular engagement. Grounded in tradition, but educating for the future, Webb magnifies the potential of every student by infusing its rich curriculum with creativity, innovation and experimentation, focusing on personalization and tailoring each student’s education – all in an inspiring environment with caring people.
Webb School will host its spring Spartan Showcase, a Pre-K through 12th grade admissions Open House event, Sunday, February 27, 2022, on the Webb School campus. Beginning at 2 p.m., this free event invites prospective students and their parents to explore Webb’s unique offerings and programs, interact with Webb faculty, administrators and students, and tour the campus and its top-of-the-line facilities.
This includes the Middle School Innovation Center that integrates engineering and robotics and promotes greater learning and collaboration; the Upper School’s innovative learning spaces, designed to engage students and teachers and promote higher learning and advanced research; and renovations to the Central Building, providing a more intentional “front door” to the campus that celebrates Webb’s history and welcomes visitors in spaces that represent its dedication to excellence and community.
At Webb School, we strongly believe that an excellent education includes rich experiences, strong connections and the inspiration to imagine your future. Webb faculty bring their passions into the classroom and partner with students to create a vibrant community where honor, respect and character are embraced and each student is empowered to dream big.
The relationships we foster set us apart from all other schools. From our Lower School “FAMILIES” program to our Middle and Upper School advisories to Webb’s new student/faculty/staff House system, students connect with peers, teachers, coaches, alumni, and the greater community. Our students are seen, known and loved for who they are. Their experiences, perspectives and talents are valued, their voices heard. Webb is a place of possibilities where every day is an adventure in learning together and all students are supported and challenged to explore, reach higher and grow.
