UT Basketball Kickoff Party

Tennessee football may be underway, but excitement is building for the UT Men’s and Women’s basketball seasons! What better way to celebrate the return to the hardwood than a BIG pep rally.

Market Square Madness

The entire community is invited to Market Square Madness on Friday, October 18th. The Vols and Lady Vols will be introduced with lots of fanfare on a special basketball court built in the center of Market Square. The rally will start at 7:30pm, but be there early! Starting at 7:00pm, Smokey and the Tennessee Spirit Squads will be on hand for pictures. There will be face painting stations and fans will be able to compete in on-court contests for prizes. DJ Sterl will be pumping up the crowd and the Tennessee Dance Team will perform.

Those parking garages are free starting at 6:00pm. For more information about parking in downtown Knoxville, click here. Does all this get you excited for basketball season? Single game tickets aren’t available quite yet, but you can purchase Lady Vols season tickets here. The men’s basketball season tickets have already sold out, but you can make plans for next year
