Smoky Mountain Winterfest has brightened the nights in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg for thirty-four years. With 15 million lights decorating the famed Parkway through all three cities, plus great holiday light attractions, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the winter season in Sevierville this year.
Winter Play
The newest light display in town is at SkyLand Ranch, a 100-acre mountaintop ranch located just off the Parkway in Sevierville. SkyLand’s Festival of Lights at the Ranch will take place November 1 – Jan 20 from 6pm-9pm nightly and feature light displays, holiday movies, live entertainment and more.
Wilderness at the Smokies will once again transforming its outdoor waterpark into Winter Wilderland – complete with holiday snacks and treats, scheduled live entertainment, and a fun ice skating rink for all to enjoy with family and friends. Tickets to Winter Wilderland (and the skating rink) are open to both Wilderness guests and the public.
Attend an event!
Make plans to attend the Christmas at the Courthouse tree lighting on December 6th from 5:30pm until 8:30pm in historic downtown Sevierville.
Then return the next morning for Sevierville’s 62nd Annual Christmas Parade on December 7 beginning at 11am. This hometown Christmas Parade is a holiday delight and winds its way through historic downtown Sevierville.
