Located in the heart of West Knoxville, Sonny Brooke Stables offers six weeks of 4-day camps.
Our Wee Camp is for 3- to 5-year-olds, where your camper will learn about and enjoy age-appropriate daily horse chores, daily riding lessons, and horse-related crafts, games, and snacks. Our Seasonal Camp is for 6- to 10-year-olds and 11-year-olds and up who are new riders or riders with limited experience. This camp includes daily horse chores (groom, tack, bathe, turn horses out, clean stalls), daily horse time, bareback riding, horse-related games, crafts, and snacks, and a Highlight Horse Show. We also offer Summer Intensives for the more experienced rider ready to work on their skills. Think horse camp, meets clinic, meets recruiting camp all rolled into one great week of education! Riders will do the care for their horses in the barn and have a minimum of two riding lessons each day. For Intensives, riders may bring their own horse for the week or lease one from Sonny Brooke Stables. We will have instruction from our own head trainer, Krystle Bridges, as well as other guest trainers.
