Okay, so it is Thursday, and I have three things you need to know:
1. When I was five, I really wanted to be a car mechanic at Sears. Sad that didn’t work out for me.
2. All new episodes of New Girl resume on September 16th at 9/8 central.
3. Fall is coming quickly in East Tennessee, and with it FALL ALLERGIES. What better way to coat an itchy throat and beat the humidity than an all natural pineapple sorbet blended right in your own kitchen?
There are plenty of recipes for this cool concoction floating around the web, but this is my favorite recipe. It is simple, healthy, and my children literally fight over it!
Pineapple Sorbet
2 cans frozen pineapple chunks (or you can use real pineapple, of course)
1 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
1 tbsp. honey
Take the three ingredients, toss them into your blender until the mixture is frothy. Add more milk as desired for a thinner texture. Be sure your Pandora is set to the 90s alternative grunge station. Then, slice up a few strawberries for good measure and find friends and family who love a refreshing sweet treat! Enjoy!
I am going to make some of these soon! Looks so yummy!
