As moms, we hear all the time that self-care is important. We’re reminded to find the time to do the things that make us happy or are important for our well-being. That looks different for everyone. For some of us, it may be a solo trip to Target with a cup of coffee in hand; for others, it may be a massage or some other type of spa treatment. Some moms may prefer their “me” time as some type of active outlet. For me, a good bingeworthy session of the latest Netflix released show or a good book — uninterrupted with my beverage and snack of choice, snuggled up in some comfy clothes — is all the self-care I need sometimes.
I have taken the liberty of rounding up some of our contributors’ latest bingeworthy, can’t-stop-watching shows for when the mood strikes and you feel the need for some alone time.
Self-care comes in all forms, but who doesn’t want to escape into a world of mindless television for a little while? There is a wide variety of genres, from reality, to comedy, to drama. Also some of these shows are newer releases with episodes being released weekly and some of them are ones that have been around longer, so you don’t have to wait for new episodes to come out because all the seasons have already been released.
