It’s Park Time with The Town of Farragut Parks & Pavilions! {Giveaway}

With warm weather upon us and school out, many of us are looking for outdoor activities for the kiddos! Thankfully Knoxville has a lot to offer in the park department and especially in the Town of Farragut.

Town of Farragut (1)

A family favorite is Anchor Park in Farragut. With lots of shade, the lake, playground, and a sandbox it’s the perfect combination! It’s great for fun and a picnic, and the kids love it when a train goes by!

Anchor Park

We also love the Founders Park at Campbell Station. It has plenty of shade and beautiful walking trails along a creek that runs throughout the park. It’s great for a stroll, a picnic, or even family photos! (We’ve done a few there!)

Founders Park

Need to cool off? The McFee Park is the perfect spot with its splash pad! We’ve held a birthday party at the pavilion, and it was so fun we are doing it again later this summer. The kids can’t resist the water or the fun playground with lots of slides and climbing fun!

McFee Park

These are just a few of the great parks in Farragut, so be sure to check out the full list next time you are looking for a good family outing.

Seventeen years ago, I moved to Knoxville after graduating college and fell in love with the city that has now truly become my home. Shortly after moving here, I married my college sweetheart, and when not working we set out to travel as much as we could. After working as a financial manager for six years, I welcomed my first son Nolan in 2010 and began a journey as a stay-at-home mom. Two years later we added another baby boy, Conley, to make us a family of four. In June 2016, we welcomed our third boy, Foster. I founded Knoxville Moms in November 2013 which began my career as a work-from-home mom, and it grew to the expansion of Chattanooga Moms in March 2016. We recently welcomed our first girl, Lilah, in November 2017 making us a family of six and adding a little pink in our house. In June 2021, I became the co-owner of the Atlanta Mom website. When I’m not chasing the kids or stepping on Legos, you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee, reading a good book, and dreaming about my toes in the sand. I enjoy meeting new people and enjoy connecting the moms of Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta. Hope to see you at our next event!

  1. We LOVE McFee park… or rather, my daughter loves the splashpad. We had her birthday party there and spend a lot of Saturdays there!
