There are two school districts in Loudon County—Lenoir City and Loudon County. There are assigned school districts, but families have the flexibility to send their child to a school outside their zone. It’s not unusual for this to take place. There are two requirements. There must be space in the school and the family must be able to provide transportation. Bus service is not provided if a child is attending outside their zoned school.
