She was born and raised in Illinois and moved to the great southern state of Tennessee.  She makes her bed in Knoxville, but she loves to travel all over East Tennessee. She considers herself a walking contradiction; a Type A personality with a creative streak, a yankee who says fixin’, and a lover of comedy who couldn’t tell a punch-line to save her soul.  Her days are spent making modern, simple, no-frills photographs and spending time with her husband and baby girl. She is blessed that her art allows her to meet new couples and new families every day.
