Christmas Gift Guide For The Book Lover On Your List

Christmas is approaching quickly and a lot of people have already begun their shopping for the perfect gifts for their friends and family. There are always at least a couple book lovers on your Christmas shopping list and it’s definitely hard to know which books they have read or already have and plan to read soon or if they’d be interested in a book you’re looking to get for them.

Don’t worry! I’ve compiled a list of some great ideas for the book lovers on your list that will help make getting them the perfect present so much easier!

1. Kindle accessories

If you have a Kindle user on your list, there are so many accessories that you can get them to customize their Kindle and make them super cute and even more personalized. Kindle Charms are a cute way to accessorize a Kindle, as is a dust cover so that dirt and dust doesn’t make its way into one’s device when it’s in a purse or sitting on a shelf. There are so many different shapes and designs to choose from and so many places from which you can purchase them.

I love shopping for Kindle accessories on Etsy; check out CastleConceptsCo or Biteofbooknook for some cute ideas! You could also look into a cute pop socket or case for the Kindle lover on your list. Pop sockets make it so easy to hold onto your Kindle while reading and a pretty case is always a good idea! Well Versed has some adorable Kindle cases and accessories from which to choose. There’s also a remote control page turner that makes reading in bed or on the couch more enjoyable; Amazon has a lot of options available.

2. A good book light

If you’re reading a physical book, a good book light is a must have! If you can get your hands on a rechargeable USB light, even better! I have this one from Amazon and it has been a game changer for reading late at night while not keeping anyone else awake. Plus, you don’t have to worry about buying new batteries for it all the time. It’s lightweight and super compact, and has a brightness dimmer with multiple settings.

3. Custom book embosser

Custom book embossers have been very popular lately and can add some personalization to your hardcover/paperback books (and also ensure you always know which copies are yours and which ones you’ve borrowed). This gift is perfect for a book lover who is growing their physical library and wants to customize their books a little more. You can find a variety of these on Etsy and can change the font/wording to whatever you want it to be and put your name inside all of your books.

4. BOTM subscription

A Book of the Month subscription is a great gift for anyone who wants to gift physical books, but also wants to let their friend/family member pick out their books. Monthly subscriptions — where you can choose from a variety of authors and receive a new book each month — come in three-month, six-month, and 12-month memberships ranging from $59.00-$199. They have a list to choose from, ensuring that everyone’s tastes are accounted for. They offer thrillers, fantasy, romance, horror, thriller, historical fiction — you name it! There is truly something for everyone.

There are so many more book lover gift ideas, but these suggestions can help you get started. Happy shopping!
