You’re invited to Appalachian Life in Literature, a public conversation on place-based writing with Frank X Walker, David Brill, Monic Ductan & Maurice Manning.

This Tremont Writers Conference event is free and open to the public. Join us at 5:30pm at Blount County Public Library, located at 508 N. Cusick Street in Maryville, Tennessee. No RSVP or ticket is required.

After the event, authors will be available to sign books, which will be available to purchase throughout the evening.

Appalachian Life in Literature is a part of the Tremont Writers Conference hosted by Great Smoky Mountains Institute at Tremont in partnership with Smokies Life. Support for Appalachian Life in Literature is provided by Tennessee Arts Commission, Friends of Blount County Library, and Southland Books. This event is held in memory of Debbie Ellis.
