Dr. Courtney Alred, DVM, leads the clinic and the veterinary team. From an early age, Dr. Alred has loved animals, so veterinary medicine was a clear career choice for her and has proven to be a natural fit. She attended Lincoln Memorial University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and has over seven years of experience in emergency medicine, neurology, and surgery. With equal parts empathy and expertise, she combines warm bedside manner with sharp medical knowledge and skills. She is known for her quick wit in the treatment room, which lightens tense moments with a well-timed joke or playful pun.
As a Knoxville native, Dr. Alred values her relationships with her patients and clients, and aims to provide high quality care that is rooted in compassion, knowing the impact it will have on her community. Dr. Alred knows just how important pets are to your family because she has a pug, a shepherd mix, and three cats of her own.
