This is now a time to reprioritize and find the joy and peace in things we took for granted. One way to do this is through art. My family loves to do art and we have found several free art tutorials that families can take advantage of during this national crisis.
Here are a few free (or very cheap) links for art tutorials that the whole family can do:
1. The Back Porch Mercantile is locally owned Knoxville Business will be doing live Facebook tutorials and self-filming for WATE. It will be a combination of projects and kids art.
2. Macaroni Kid Knoxville and Creative Art with Miss Shelley is another small and locally owned business, Macaroni Kid has fun activities and ideas you can do with your kids at home along with free online Art Classes.
3. Painting with a Twist will be offering $5 virtual art classes.
4. Kitchen Table Classroom is one of my favorite resources!
5. Chalk Pastel Art offers wonderful pastel art tutorials.
6. Jerry’s Artarama has over 2000 free video lessons.
7. Kinderart offers Art Lesson Plans are another great art resource.
8. Crayola offers lots of fun ideas for at home activities and free coloring pages.
9. You Tube has several fun art tutorials for the whole family. Some popular ones include:
