We’ve discovered a new family favorite outing—one I never imagined we’d have a subscription to! We have been to countless birthday parties here, but never thought about going very much besides that. I’m talking about Chuck E. Cheese! I had a friend reach out and tell me that they had a new subscription price where you could play a ton of games every day starting at $7.99 a month and I knew we had to try this out.
The Chuck E. Cheese Fun Pass has different levels from which you can choose:
- The Bronze Fun Pass is $7.99 and includes 40 games every time you go, 20% off food and drinks, and 20% off additional game play.
- The next level is the Silver Fun Pass which is the one we opted for and it’s $11.99. This package comes with 100 games every time you go, 30% off food and drinks, and 30% off additional game play.
- There is one level above this called the Gold Fun Pass which includes 250 games, 50% off food and drinks, and 50% off additional play.
The best part about all of these packages is that you can visit Chuck E. Cheese every day if you want and play the amount of games your pass allows with just one flat fee per month. Did I mention that you also can split the game amount between your entire household? We have two kids that play when we go, so with the 100 game pass, each kid gets 50 loaded onto their card and they play a ton. The only games excluded are crane games, the ticket blaster, the trampolines, and birthday party included games. These fun passes also include surprise rewards that show in your account every so often; these range from extra discounts to bonus tickets. You can exchange your tickets for prizes each day you go as well.
Additionally, Chuck E. Cheese now has indoor trampolines in most locations so your kids can play games and enjoy some jump time too. Children have to be under 56″ tall to use the trampolines and they come with an additional cost, but if you have a Fun Pass, you might get a discount on an all-day jump pass as a surprise reward.
Another thing that makes visiting so much easier is the Chuck E. Cheese app which lets you order food, see your Fun Pass rewards, and check in when you arrive. You can see all your offers stored in one convenient spot in the “Offers” section of your app which is so much easier.
The Fun Pass itself is a card (like a game play card) that you scan at each game to play, but you’re also able to buy bands for the card to wear them like a bracelet as well as actual bracelets your kids can wear and scan at each game. They also offer a refillable cup that you can purchase and use as many times as you want and it’s good for a lifetime! We take these cups every time we go and definitely get our money’s worth. The price for the cup initially is $6.99 and if you have the Fun Pass, you get your percentage discount off of that as well.
Chuck E. Cheese also offers Sensory Sensitive Sundays for kiddos who may need a less stimulating environment where the music is lower and the lights are not as bright. If your child would benefit from this type of play environment, you can take advantage of these Sunday play times at most locations.
I’m always looking for new ways for my kids to have fun and to get my kids’ energy out. This is such an inexpensive way to allow them to play and have a great time! It also lets us spend some quality time together! I’m looking forward to when our one-year-old is big enough to try out some of the games but for now, my four-year-old and nine-year-old are loving it.
