Knoxville
Awaken Coffee — Located at 125 W. Jackson Ave. Open Monday-Friday (7:30am-8pm), Saturday (8am-8pm) and Sunday (1:30pm-6pm). Hand-crafted coffee, tea and delicious pastries. You can view their menu here.
Coffee and Chocolate — Located at 327 Union Ave and in Powell at 3531 W. Emory Rd. The Downtown location is open daily 7am-10pm and the Powell location is open daily from 7am-7pm. Coffee and Chocolate is a favorite place to stop in for a treat and a great cup of coffee. They offer a variety of delicious macarons and chocolates. CommonPlace Coffee + Community — Located in South Knoxville at 6000 Chapman Hwy. They are open Monday-Friday (7am-7pm) and Saturday (8am-2pm). They offer space you can rent to host events and meetings. You can check out their menu here.
Cultivate Coffee & Flowers — Located at 5221 N Broadway. This coffee shop is a collaboration between Likewise Coffee and Flourish Flowers. The coffee shop is open Monday-Friday (6:30 am-8pm), Saturday (8am-6pm), and Sunday (8am-3pm) and the flower shop is open Monday-Saturday (8am-6pm) and Sunday (10am-3pm). They offer a great coffee menu and you can even order your coffee ahead.
Dutch Bros Coffee — Located in North Knoxville at 7004 Maynardville Pike, in Maryville at 1915 W Broadway Ave, and in Oak Ridge at 100 Tulsa Rd, and it looks like a new location is set to open on Kingston Pike in Knoxville so be on the lookout! They are open Sunday-Thursday (5am-10pm) and Friday-Saturday (5am-11pm). Their menu includes everything from coffee classics, to energy drinks, to shakes and smoothies, and even sparkling sodas.
The Empty Cup — Located at 9111 Executive Park Dr. Open Monday-Friday (7am-1pm), Saturday from (8am-1pm) and closed on Sunday. The Empty Cup is a non-profit coffeehouse, with a special focus on great coffee, the Knoxville community, and adoption. They proudly serve Just Love Coffee, a coffee roasting company located in Murfreesboro, TN, with a heart for helping those in need. Fable Hollow Coffee and Bookshoppe — Located at 2910 Tazewell Pike, Suites A and B. They are open Tuesday-Friday (8am-8pm), Saturday (9am-8pm) and Sunday (10am-5pm). This coffee shop brings together the cozy and perfect combination of books and coffee. What’s not to love? They also offer fun events like story time for adults. Frothy Monkey — Located in downtown Knoxville at 417 S Gay Street. They are open Monday-Saturday (7am-9pm) and Sunday (7am-4pm). They offer several delicious food options along with their coffee. You can find their menu here.

Honeybee Coffee — Four locations: 10716 Kingston Pike, inside of West Town Mall, 700 Sevier Ave, and 101 E Main Street (Sevierville location). The Kingston Pike location is open Monday-Wednesday (7am-8pm), Thursday & Friday (7am-9 pm), Saturday (8am-9pm) and Sunday (8am-8pm). The mall location is open Monday-Thursday (10am-6pm), Friday and Saturday (9am-6pm) and Sunday (11am-6pm). The South location is open Monday-Friday (7am-7pm), Saturday and Sunday (8am-7pm). The Sevierville location is open Monday-Friday (7am-5pm) and Saturday and Sunday (8am-5pm). They have an extensive coffee menu and serve tasty breakfast and lunch items. They also have a brewery. Jack’s — Located at 854 N Central St and at 133 S Gay Street. The North Central location is open Monday-Friday (7:30am-5pm), Saturday (9am-6pm), and Sunday (9-5pm). The Gay Street location is open Monday-Thursday (9am-5pm), Friday-Saturday (9am-6pm),and Sunday (1pm-5pm). Along with coffee drinks, they also have plants for sale. K Brew — Four Locations: 1138 N Broadway; 7822 Kingston Pike; 507 S Gay St and 1000 Ebenezer Rd (This location has a drive-thru). The Gay Street location is open Sunday (8am-6pm), Monday–Thursday (7am–6pm) and Friday and Saturday (7am-8pm). All the other locations are open Monday-Saturday (7 am-6pm) and Sunday (8am-6pm). Along with amazing coffee, they also have delicious bagels and breakfast sandwiches. They offer a ‘Power Hour’ from 5pm-6pm on Monday through Friday where you can get $1 drip coffee, $1 cappuccinos, $1 bagels, and $6 baker’s dozen bagels.
Life House Coffee — Located at 7545 Brickyard Road. Open Monday-Friday (6:30am -9pm) and Saturday (7:30am-9pm) and closed on Sundays. Life House Coffee exists as a place where the community can connect. It is locally owned by Michael and Jihan Cox. They serve espresso, coffee, smoothies, sweets, and anytime food. Likewise Coffee — Located at 1209 E Magnolia Avenue. They are open Monday-Friday (7am-5pm) and Saturday (8am-3pm). All proceeds go toward their ministry, Raising A Voice, which fights against human trafficking. They have event space available to rent for meetings or other gatherings.
Mahalo Coffee Roasters — They have two locations: In Powell at 1317 East Emory Rd and in Downtown Knoxville at 513 Union Ave. The East Emory Road location is open Monday- Friday (6:30am-5pm) and Saturday (7am-3pm), the Union Ave location is open Monday- Thursday (7am-5pm) and Friday-Saturday (7am-6pm).
Maple Street Biscuit Company — Two locations in Knoxville: 10837 Hardin Valley Road and 9314 Kingston Pike. Both locations have the same business hours: Monday – Thursday (7am-2pm), Friday and Saturday (7am-3pm), and closed Sunday. While this isn’t only a coffee shop, I felt like it HAD to be included on our coffee list. Not only are their biscuits sinfully delicious, but their coffee is ON POINT every single time.
Old City Java — Located at 109 S Central St. Open Monday-Friday (7am-6pm) and Saturday and Sunday (8am-6pm). Old City Java offers direct trade coffees, baked goods and is a great place to unwind and listen to an amazing local band or two, or observe local artwork.
Perk City — Located at 3229 E Magnolia Ave. They are open Monday-Friday (8am-1pm) and Saturday (8:30am-12pm). The coffee shop is dedicated to creating a sense of community in the Park City neighborhood so you’ll find many people working, hanging out, and getting to know one another. There are photos on the wall showing the history of the neighborhood and celebrating its life and culture. The owner has started a Pay It Forward board where customers can buy a drink or snack for someone who may not be able to afford it. Remedy Coffee — Located at 800 Tyson Street. Open Monday-Friday (7am-5pm) and Saturday and Sunday (8am-5pm). Visit their Facebook page and their Instagram for more info.
Scooter’s — They have three locations in the Knoxville area at 10512 Kingston Pike, 8004 Kingston Pike, and 1725 Old Callahan Drive. There is also a Maryville location at 2002 W Broadway Ave. They are open Monday-Saturday (6am-8pm) and on Sunday (6am-7pm). They have tasty treats that go great with their coffee.
SoKno Market — Located at 2014 W. Gov. John Sevier Highway. They are open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (7am-1pm), and on Thursday (7am-1pm and 3pm-7pm). They are closed on Sunday and Monday. Start your day with a cup of SoKno Joe and a breakfast sandwich, or stop by for lunch and try one of their craft sodas and a panini stuffed with Fox’s Famous peachwood smoked barbecue.
Summer Moon — Located in Farragut at 104 North Campbell Station Road. They are open Monday-Friday (6am-8pm) and on the weekends (7am-8pm). They have wonderful coffee and are known for their signature “Moon Milk.” Check out their Facebook page here.
Sunago Coffee Co. — Located at 10736 Hardin Valley Road. They are open Monday-Friday (6am-3pm) and Saturday (7am-3pm). Along with coffee, they offer local ice cream and milkshakes and local food from Knoxville businesses. They support local makers by giving them space in their shop and letting them keep 100% of their profits.
Treetop Coffee — Located at 1206 Kenesaw Avenue. They are open Monday-Friday (6:30am-5pm), Saturday (8am-5pm) and Sunday (8am-3pm). They partner with a different organization each month to help make a difference in the community. Be sure to check out their Facebook and Instagram.
Wild Love Bakehouse — Located at 1625 N. Central St. They are open Wednesday- Sunday (8am-4pm). This adorable coffee shop and bakehouse has several delightful and delicious things on their menu. Visit their Facebook page here.
Wrenhouse Bakery — Located in Fountain City at 3023 Tazewell Pike and they also have a Corryton location at 7404 Tazewell Pike. Both Locations are open Monday-Friday 6:30am-6pm). On Saturdays, the Corryton location is open from 8am to 12pm and the Fountain City Location is open from 8am to 2pm. They offer a variety of delicious baked goods along with their coffee. Lenoir City
Coffee Culture — Located at 560 Hwy 321 N, Suite D. They are open Monday-Friday (6am-6pm), Saturday (7am-5pm), and Sunday (8am-3pm). They offer a variety of specialty coffee drinks along with the more traditional coffee options. Their menu can be found here on their Facebook page.
Riverside Coffee Shop — Located at 16239 Hwy 70 E. They are open Monday-Saturday (7am-3pm) and Sunday (8:30am-2pm). This place is wonderful and not just because they serve great coffee. They offer “…a vocational training program that promotes community inclusion and social interaction utilizing the coffee shop as a teaching platform. These new skills will lead to a more independent and productive lifestyle for teens and young adults diagnosed with Autism and other developmental differences.” So if you’re looking to support a great cause, be sure to stop by. Ugly Mug Coffee — Located at 108 S. B St. Open Monday-Friday (7am-7pm) Saturday (8am-7pm), and Sunday (8am-3pm). Ugly Mug Coffee serves breakfast, lunch, pastries and, of course, delicious coffee. It’s modeled after The Ugly Mug in Memphis. There is a drive-thru for moms on the go. When the weather is warm, the patio is a nice spot, especially when the kiddos are in tow. (There’s plenty of seating inside too.) Ugly Mug is open seven days a week and often hosts local musicians in the evening. Maryville
Capitol Theatre Coffee & Ice Cream — Located at 127 W. Broadway Ave. They are open Tuesday-Thursday (1:00pm-9:00pm) and Saturday-Sunday 1:00pm-10:00pm. The Capitol Theatre specializes in gourmet coffee and espresso drinks. Other treats are also available like ice cream desserts, floats and shakes, candy and smoothies. Movie fans will love checking out all the memorabilia while listening to classic movie soundtracks. Even the menu is Hollywood themed! Southern Grace Coffee Co. — Located at 312 Tedford Street, Maryville, TN. They are open Monday- Wednesday (6:30am-6pm), Thursday (6:30am-5:30pm), Friday (6:30am- 6pm, Saturday (7am-6pm), and Sunday (12pm-4pm). They offer fresh baked goods and organically sourced, fair-trade coffee.
Vienna Coffee — Located at 212 College St. They are open Monday-Saturday (7am-6pm). Stop in for free internet, a cozy atmosphere and freshly baked goods. There is also a great selection of retail coffee to choose from, fresh from the Vienna Coffee Company! They have live music and open mic nights, so check out special events! Oak Ridge
Bud’s Farmhouse Coffee — Located at 1151 Oak Ridge Turnpike. They are open Monday-Saturday (7:30am-2pm) and Sunday (8am-1pm). They serve coffee as well as espresso drinks, homemade yogurt, sandwiches, and sweets.
Calamity’s Coffee — Located at 219 Jackson Square. They are open Monday–Friday
(7am-5pm), Saturday 7am-3pm. They are closed most Sundays but they open 10am-2pm when there are plays. They have a great coffee selection that includes several specialty drinks. Along with their coffee, they strive to recognize leaders in the community who might not always get the recognition they deserve. You can nominate a deserving community leader here. Another favorite is not in Knoxville but SO worth checking out. “Towns End Coffee” in Townsend. Cozy cabin location facing Rich Mointain, and they brew the BEST coffee & offer delicious breakfast options & grab n go homemade protein boxes for hikes, etc.
