Knoxville Moms has you covered with a complete list of Christmas tree farms within a two-hour drive of downtown Knoxville. This year, the American Christmas Tree Association (ACTA) expects demand will be high for live Christmas trees and early shoppers will get the best deal. An ACTA spokesperson says many people are starting to decorate for Christmas earlier this year because of the rise in prices. For that reason, supplies may be limited later in the season. If you want a specific type, style, or size of tree, the ACTA suggests finding one early. Most of the farms in East Tennessee officially open for the season right after Thanksgiving. It’s always a good idea to check on tree availability before you make the drive. Many of the farms will be updating their websites and Facebook pages with that information and more.
