Hey y’all, and welcome to my new series called “Get in My Bag!” This is going to be my new monthly post (only if you guys love it), which will showcase my absolute favorites and must-haves — pretty much anything I’m loving at the moment. It can be anything from makeup, child products, skincare, or even my favorite mom hacks to make life run more smoothly while on the go.
So, let’s get started with some of my favorite things!
Origins Plantscription Power Anti-Aging Cream, SPF 25
This is the latest moisturizer I have tried and believe me, I’ve tried many. Not only does it smell amazing, but its ingredients include numerous anti-aging plant extracts that actually work. Since using it, I have noticed a big difference in my skin’s elasticity, texture, and smoothness. It’s so good, it’s currently sold out at Origins and Sephora online. It’s $59, but totally worth it.
ChapStick Total Hydration Lip Scrub
I just picked this up from Target a few days ago. With all of this weird warm, then cold weather, my lips look like I dragged them across the concrete — super dry and flaky! I used it this morning for the first time and it’s sensational. Smells like peppermint and is packed with vitamin E and coconut oil. A must-have for this mama and only $4.99.
Homemade Calendula Salve
I call this “Magic in a Jar!” The recipe doesn’t call for it, but I used all organic ingredients. This amazing salve will replace your Neosporin. Since it has the powerful extracts of the calendula flower and lavender, it’s great for diaper rashes, cuts, scrapes, burns and makes the most moisturizing hand, foot and cuticle balm. I’ve used it on my daughter’s terrible eczema and it works wonders. Pop some of this in a travel container and keep it in your purse for, well, pretty much anything! The link will take you to the recipe…you can thank me later.
LipSense by SeneGence
I’m sure you have all heard of this at some point in your social media lifetime. It’s everywhere, and there is a reason why. It’s a longwearing lip gloss that molecularly bonds to your lips and stays on until you physically remove it. You can layer different colors to create a custom lip, which makes the possibilities endless. Although it was little tricky for me to get used to, I love it. Last I checked, I already have my hands full with two kids under 5. I don’t have time to be reapplying lipstick all day. I have a sweet friend who is a distributor and she is pretty much available all the time to answer any questions and place orders for you. Check out her page for some great pics and tips!
Still Rad
I honestly don’t remember where I spotted this bag or how I found the website, but I had to get one of these totes. They are a great size, have a zipper top, and are the perfect replacement for that “on the go” bag after the diaper bag stage. I love mine and carry it everywhere when I need to lug around a bunch of random “kid stuff.” I also love the shop’s tagline: “A Brand for the Sleep Deprived and Still Alive.” I should have this stamped on my forehead…just saying.
Love learning all your faves and suggestions…must check out! 🙂
Thanks for your comment, Natalie! I love the feedback:) Any faves I need in MY bag??
