As the weather gets colder, I find myself looking for fun indoor activities to do with the kids. So, after spending several hours searching the internet, I have compiled a list of free or inexpensive activities to enjoy with your kiddos.
Some of these we have been doing for years and love them, while others are new to me, but I’m interested in giving them a try. Let me know what are some of your favorite family friendly things to do around town!

So many great options!
Jump Jam is actually $12 for 1 hour or $20 for 2 hours. http://www.jumpjam.us/Pricing.aspx
Hi Margaret! Thanks for the information 🙂 It looks like Beth was supplying the 6 and under times as well as the pricing which is $8 for the 9am-10am. They call it the “KidJump Hours.”
That’s correct Natalie, I was also trying to keep it to under $10.
FYI, East Tennessee Discovery Center no longer exists–it is now called The Muse Knoxville and there have been several updates. The newly updated museum is also now open on Mondays from 9-5 and has special preschool-themed activities from 10-11 am every Monday free with admission. Thanks so much for helping us spread the word!
