The Episcopal School of Knoxville is a co-educational, independent day school offering Junior Kindergarten through Eighth grade. ESK’s Junior Kindergarten program is an academic program designed for 3 and 4 year olds. The Jr. K 4 program is 5 days per week and the Jr. K 3 program offers a 3 (T, W, Th) or 5 day option. The Junior Kindergarten day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at1:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided, and extended care (1:30-3:00 p.m. and 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.) is available for an additional fee. River’s Edge Christian Academy provides K-12 core curriculum instruction in a four-hour classroom day with afternoon classes and electives available in the upper grades. Who We Are: A Christian hybrid teaching platform that includes a variety of classes both in-person and online. While the world is teaching our children that genders are subjective, science disproves God’s existence and we need to separate God from schools – we will teach children how to defend their beliefs, that science can coincide with God’s beautiful creation and be able to stand firm in their faith backed by logic, facts and science. As more learners are transferring to online education, there is a lack of Christian courses.
We’ve got you covered! We provide a large variety of engaging core classes including math, reading, science, social studies, history, government and are adding new courses all the time. We foster a strong belief in independence therefore providing many life skill courses including homesteading, financial independence, farming and entrepreneurship. The BreedArts School of Art and Dance offers movement classes, art classes, and a new Homeschool Co-op, for youth, ages 4-13, for a Fall, Spring, and Summer Season. Amelia Breed teaches Art, Yoga/Movement/Sports, and a Social Studies period with an environmental, ethical, and/or animal theme. We also provide a period for independent study where students work on curriculum brought from home.
Our classes are family focused and are designed to help families prepare for the birth of their new little one, whether you are expecting your first child or your 5th! We go over everything from pregnancy wellness, medications used during labor, how to cope with labor without medication, postpartum, and so much more!
