Smoky Mountain Scottish Festival & Games

The 44th annual festival is a celebration of Scottish, Irish, and Celtic heritage featuring elite Highland athletics (caber toss, hammer throw, etc.), piping/drumming competitions and traditional Highland dancing. There are also cultural demonstrations including sheepdog herding. There will be Celtic rock/folk music, whiskey tastings, and authentic food like haggis, meat pies, and shortbread. The festival also features a dedicated kid’s area, face painting, and children’s Highland games.
