13th Annual Barley’s St. Patrick’s Day 5k

A St. Patrick’s Day Celebration the Whole Family Will Love! Looking for a fun, active, and meaningful way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your kids? The 13th Annual Barley’s St. Patrick’s Day 5K is coming to Knoxville in 2026, and it’s more family-friendly than ever!

This year’s race features an exciting new finish at Covenant Health Park, where runners will cross the line at home plate inside the stadium, which is a thrill for kids and adults alike. The event is stroller-friendly, making it perfect for parents with little ones, and spectators can enjoy a kids’ play area, face painting, and plenty of space to cheer from the stands. Young runners are celebrated too, with a special “Fastest Under 14” award to recognize our future athletes. Even better, this joyful event supports a powerful cause. The race is held in memory of Carrie Daugherty and benefits Emily’s Power for a Cure, helping fund childhood cancer research and awareness.
