One of the advantages of living in Knoxville is easy access to the mountains. You can leave the hustle and bustle behind and simply head out to nature to relax and unwind.

Retreat Away to the Mountains with Dollywood Cabins

Recently, Knoxville Moms and Chattanooga Moms held our annual Executive Team Meeting to plan for the upcoming year. This year’s meeting was held in Sevierville at one of Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain cabins.

We stayed in the cabin named On Eagle’s Wings. We were pleasantly surprised with the multiple balconies with which we could enjoy the gorgeous view. We couldn’t get over how quiet and tranquil it was sitting outside on the porch overlooking the mountains as far as the eye could see. It was the perfect setting to connect with one another and plan for the next year.

One of the perks of staying at the Dollywood cabins is that you feel like you are immersed in nature. However, with a quick drive you can journey to Dollywood and all of the Pigeon Forge attractions. We ventured out for dinner at the Island of Pigeon Forge, and we had no problems navigating from our secluded cabin back to the busy city activities.

Perks for Guest in Dollywood Cabins who have Dollywood Park Tickets:

  • Early Saturday Entry
  • TimeSaver Passes Discounted to $34 (Regularly $39 Per Person)
  • Cabin Guests Receive Reserved Parking at Dollywood and Splash Country

Dollywood Cabin guests also have the advantage of purchasing exclusive theme park packages!

Over 20 years ago, I moved to Knoxville and fell in love with the city that has now truly become my home. Shortly after moving here, I married my college sweetheart, and when not working we set out to travel as much as we could. After working as a financial manager for six years, I welcomed my first son in 2010 and began a journey as a stay-at-home mom. Two years later we added another baby boy to make us a family of four. In June 2016, we welcomed our third son. I founded Knoxville Moms in November 2013 which began my career as a work-from-home mom, and it grew to the expansion of Chattanooga Moms in March 2016. We welcomed our first girl in November 2017 making us a family of six and adding a little pink in our house. In June 2021, I became the co-owner of the Atlanta Mom website, and in March 2022 I became the owner of the Nashville Moms parenting website. When I'm not carpooling the kids to sports and activities, you can find me enjoying a cup of coffee, reading a good book, and dreaming about my toes in the sand. I enjoy meeting new people and enjoy connecting the moms of Knoxville, Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Nashville.
