City of Knoxville’s Kid A ‘Riffic Fun in the Park

The city of Knoxville is bringing back a popular summer event for kids! Kid A ‘Riffic Fun in the Park offers games, activities and crafts for children ages two to 12. Best of all, it’s free! Kid A ‘Riffic began in 2019 on Market Square as a way to create weekly summertime activities for families.

This year Kid A’ Riffic will be held at seven parks across Knoxville. Be sure to check the schedule to find the location nearest you.  The event will take place in June and July on Wednesdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm. Again, the event is free and no registration is required. Kid A’ Riffic Fun in the Park kicks off on June 5th at Baxter Avenue Park and Fire Station #3.  The event is made possible by the city of Knoxville and several area sponsors.

2024 Schedule:

June 5th: Baxter Avenue Park & Fire Station #3, 204 E. Baxter Avenue

June 12th: Chilhowee Park, 3301 E. Magnolia Avenue (including a Touch-A-Truck event)

June 26th: Fort Kid, 1049 World’s Fair Park Drive

July 10th: Morningside Park, 1600 Dandridge Road

July 17th: Fountain City Park, 117 Hotel Road

July 24th: West Hills Park, 410 N. Winston Road

July 31st: World’s Fair Park, 910 World’s Fair Park Drive
