The BreedArts School of Art and Dance offers movement classes, art classes, and a new Homeschool Co-op, for youth, ages 4-13, for a Fall, Spring, and Summer Season. This program will introduce children to a world of movement including ballet, modern dance, improvisation, choreography, hip hop, tap, and yoga; high quality art technique and instruction; and a supportive, inspiring, and warm community.

For children ages 7-14
Join us every Monday, 9:30am-3:00pm. We meet at various locations, mostly outdoors at parks, farms, and for field trips specific to our lessons.
Amelia Breed teaches Art, Yoga/Movement/Sports, and a Social Studies period with an environmental, ethical, and/or animal theme. We also provide a period for independent study where students work on curriculum brought from home.
Our mission is to inspire and mentor the next generation of rocket scientists, skyscraper architects and robotics engineers using LEGO elements and activities that emphasize STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math). We offer fun, educational programs that are engaging and LEGO-filled for kids 4-12 in the greater Knoxville area.

Hey y’all, my name is Kendall Shields and I am a senior student at The University of Tennessee. Throughout my 4 years at UT, I have been lucky enough to have been mentored by some amazing women in the Knoxville area, many of whom have had young children. Therefore, I have gotten to see first-hand, how hard it can be to schedule those girlfriend lunch-dates, coffee chats, women’s bible studies, or even just a few hours alone to get some work done with those cute little distractions by your side.
I would love nothing more than to lift this burden for you, Mom! I am offering my childcare services, free of charge, in order to open up space for those life-giving conversations and restful reunions you deserve.

- I have many years of experience in KIDS ministry at my local churches and have spent countless hours babysitting some dear family and friends.
- I am graduating in May with a degree in Management and Data Analytics, and will be getting married in October!

Children’s Hospital Urgent Care supports families and their physicians by delivering immediate medical attention to children–newborns to 21 years of age–when their doctor’s office is closed. The Children’s Museum of Oak Ridge is a unique educational resource, the museum provides children with the opportunity to learn while playing-to create, discover, solve, and experience, within non-traditional, interactive exhibit galleries. We brings teachers, parents, caregivers, and children together in an educational environment where classroom learning is supplemented, imaginations are kindled, and learning opportunities in the arts, sciences, and history abound.
The Museum is a dynamic cultural center that features innovative exhibitions, programs and workshops for all ages. Science, art and history are emphasized in hands-on learning opportunities that encourage young people to understand their cultural heritage, environment and the world around them. Educators are encouraged to utilize the Museum’s numerous resources -over 20,000 objects, archival holdings, audio/video tapes, books and magazines.
