The Grace Performing Arts Center (GPAC) provides quality instruction in the arts for students of all ages. Our focus is to honor the Lord as we strive for a high level of performance using the gifts He has given. Alongside our goal of developing artistic skills in our students, it is our goal to help students understand how they can use those gifts for the greater glory of God. GPAC teachers provide instruction throughout the school calendar year, with some private lessons offered throughout the summer.

Through my training with DTI as a birth and postpartum doula, I can help you explore your options for pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum period, providing information based on the best available evidence from local and national sources. My knowledge and experience eases the process tremendously as you develop your own vision for welcoming your newest family member. As your doula, I can help you find ways to connect to yourself, your partner, your baby, and your community, and I’ll be with you every step of the way, from prenatal visits in your home, to your birthing room, and afterwards when your baby is finally in your arms. My name is Kari Lapins and I have taught Suzuki Violin and Viola lessons to students of all ages and abilities, beginning at age 3, since 2004. I hold a Masters Degree in Suzuki Pedagogy (registered Every Child Can, Suzuki Violin Books 1-10, and Suzuki Principles in Action with the Suzuki Association of the Americas) and Violin Performance from Northern Arizona University. I offer weekly individual lessons and monthly group and Music Mind Games classes, as well as performance opportunities and elective classes. I believe in teaching each individual child in a nurturing learning environment and celebrating with them as they gain new knowledge and skills. In keeping with the Suzuki philosophy, I believe that Every Child Can learn to play the violin!
