Tupelo Honey first opened its doors in Asheville, NC in 2000. Considered one of the pioneers of Asheville’s farm-to-table movement, we’ve continued to serve fresh, scratch-made Southern fare and put new twists on old Southern dishes and cocktails.
We’ve grown up from our humble beginnings as a single restaurant in the heart of Downtown Asheville and now have several locations across the Southeast including downtown Knoxville on Market Square. Each location not only continues the legacy of the original restaurant with creative, eclectic, imaginative food, but continues to foster a hometown feel through local art, local charitable outreach, local brews and responsibly sourced ingredients.

Apple Cake Tearoom is a traditional Southern tearoom. Specialties include the Tea Room Medley of chicken salad, glazed fruit, banana nut bread with cream cheese filling and chips; quiche of the day, beef and gravy, and a heart healthy half pineapple or tomato with chunk light tuna on melba toast.
Favorite sandwiches are chicken salad, tea room club, club croissant, turkey, ham and swiss, open face turkey and swiss, roast beef and cheddar, open face Reuben, or patty melt. A variety of salads are on the menu with French onion soup, soup of the day, chili, and potato soup.
Babalu Tacos & Tapas is a lively restaurant that uses fresh and local ingredients to create bold flavors. You will find a variety of authentic gourmet tacos and Spanish-style tapas with a Southern twist. Every item on the menu, down to the blue corn tortilla, is made from scratch daily – our famous guacamole is prepared tableside. Our bar carries the finest tequilas, and all drinks are handcrafted daily using fresh squeezed lemons and limes.
