I am a CAPPA certified postpartum doula and Overnight postpartum care is my passion. I believe it is the most needed area of postpartum support to be able to set a family up for success. I provide the extra set of hands, emotional support, and expertise during the night that you and your baby need. I am there to encourage you and be the educated baby whisperer when you feel you have no one else to call during those middle of the night parenting hours. I help create a comfortable, safe sleep environment for both your family and your baby so everyone gets the rest they need.
My name is Kari Lapins and I have taught Suzuki Violin and Viola lessons to students of all ages and abilities, beginning at age 3, since 2004. I hold a Masters Degree in Suzuki Pedagogy (registered Every Child Can, Suzuki Violin Books 1-10, and Suzuki Principles in Action with the Suzuki Association of the Americas) and Violin Performance from Northern Arizona University. I offer weekly individual lessons and monthly group and Music Mind Games classes, as well as performance opportunities and elective classes. I believe in teaching each individual child in a nurturing learning environment and celebrating with them as they gain new knowledge and skills. In keeping with the Suzuki philosophy, I believe that Every Child Can learn to play the violin!
