My name is Kari Lapins and I have taught Suzuki Violin and Viola lessons to students of all ages and abilities, beginning at age 3, since 2004. I hold a Masters Degree in Suzuki Pedagogy (registered Every Child Can, Suzuki Violin Books 1-10, and Suzuki Principles in Action with the Suzuki Association of the Americas) and Violin Performance from Northern Arizona University. I offer weekly individual lessons and monthly group and Music Mind Games classes, as well as performance opportunities and elective classes. I believe in teaching each individual child in a nurturing learning environment and celebrating with them as they gain new knowledge and skills. In keeping with the Suzuki philosophy, I believe that Every Child Can learn to play the violin!

Miss Chloe’s School of Dance serves Loudon and surrounding counties from toddlers to adults in noncompetitive dance and performing arts. Unique courses including but not limited to homeschool collectives, preschool and creative development programs, ballet and pointe, intermediate and advanced courses, company, adult collectives, hip hop, tumbling, tap, ballroom and more. Our studio pledges to provide affordable pricing comparable to surrounding areas as well as clean music and content and role model instructors in our community – based, family friendly and warm atmosphere ; equipped with viewing windows for parents, full communication and easy commitment options for parents. The Knoxville Suzuki Academy provides musical instruction inspired and guided by the philosophies and approaches popularized by Shinichi Suzuki. Our faculty members are trained Suzuki teachers and are actively engaged in the pursuit of excellence in their teaching.
