The Knoxville Largest Kids Party will host a special feature, called “Breaking Barriers” on June 1st, 2024. This exciting event will help us draw attention to the barriers that the children at Childhelp face every day without betraying confidence. Our guest star Leif Becker will be breaking up to 500 boards stacked 5 at a time that have been artfully designed by Childhelp children in therapy to demonstrate the barriers and hurts in their lives. The event “Breaking Barriers at Knoxville’s Largest Kids’ Party” is a record attempt organized by World Record Martial Arts Master, Leif Becker. This unique event involves an attempt to break the record for the most boards broken in one minute. Leif Becker has been actively
engaged in this endeavor for the past 20 years, combining the excitement of board breaking with a meaningful mission to connect,
direct, and bring awareness to children facing daily challenges. The mission statement of Breaking Barriers emphasizes that the event
goes beyond merely breaking boards and setting world records. It aims to recognize and give a voice to the challenges that children face daily. Breaking Barriers is described as a creative application that opens the hearts and minds of children, inviting them to explore
unlimited possibilities in life when they dare to acknowledge and break through the challenges they encounter.
