An event every day that begins at 7:00 pm, repeating until March 3, 2023
Directed by Grace Christian Academy’s Director of Fine Arts, Tonya Wilson, your favorite practically perfect nanny takes center stage in this Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious adventure based on the award-winning Broadway musical and classic Walt Disney film. The beloved musical “Mary Poppins” will open on March 2 at Grace Christian Academy. The show features Isabella Francisco as Mary Poppins.
The jack-of-all-trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that “Anything can happen if you let it.” Through this production, GCA students learn how to work as a team and bring this beloved musical to life with their exceptional costume and set designs, acting, singing, and dancing.
Join us for an enchanting mixture of irresistible stories, unforgettable songs, and breathtaking dance numbers.
Shows will be held March 2 and 3, with showtimes at 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door and are $15 for adults and $8 for students/seniors.
