The Children’s Hospital Butterfly Run 2021 welcomes back runners in person to benefit East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. After taking a year off due to COVID-19, the Butterfly Run will return in-person once again on Saturday, August 7, 2021 to benefit Children’s Hospital. More than 1,300 runners participated virtually in 2020, we are hoping for an even bigger crowd this year.

Because the health needs of our patients never stop, even during a pandemic, all proceeds go directly to support our patients and their families. This year’s event is both Live at World’s Fair Park on Saturday, August 7th at 8:30am, and Virtual between Saturday, July 31 and Saturday, August 7, 2021.
The race begins on the Clinch Avenue bridge beneath the Sunsphere at Knoxville’s World’s Fair Park. The race winds through the Fort Sanders neighborhood and ends in the amphitheater. Registration begins at 7:30am, the 10k begin at 8:30am and the 5k begins at 8:45am.
